Transcendent harmonies,
instinctual melodies, and candid lyrics

Reilly Hill’s music is grounded in Americana, influenced by the blues, bluegrass, rockabilly, and folk. Transcendent harmonies, instinctual melodies, and candid lyrics sum up the duo’s writing style, putting forth personal stories yet allowing the songs to be relatable to any listener.

Reilly Hill is Meghan Reilly and Kayley Hill. The duo first met in 2014 when they began playing in a Nashville based corporate events band. Their friendship blossomed and shortly after, their artistic collaboration. Both will say that their musical duo happened organically. After adapting some cover songs for two vocals and a guitar, they began experimenting with some original song ideas that lead to where they are now- launching an album in the early Spring of 2017. Both have BFA’s in Musical Theatre, from Boston Conservatory and Roosevelt University, and while still cherishing their time spent in musical theater, both soon realized they found more happiness being themselves on stage versus a character. Their common ground doesn’t stop there… Meghan and Kayley have also worked the cruise ship circuit as main stage singers.

Meghan Reilly has been singing since she was 8 years old and writing poetry since she could read and write. She grew up doing musicals, recording music, auditioned choirs, and several singing competitions. She went on to pursue her passion at the Chicago College of Performing Arts and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre. After graduation, she traveled the world competing in the Swedish Reality TV show, Allt för Sverigeand then as a lead singer for Royal Caribbean. Then, she chased her dream to Nashville where she joined a Nashville based events band as a lead vocalist and met her musical other half, Kayley Hill. Their natural chemistry was a catalyst for Reilly Hill organically coming to fruition and they have been writing songs ever since.

Meghan is inspired by kindness, my family and the natural beauty of the world, Etta James, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, Shovels and Rope, Bright Eyes.

Kayley Hill began singing as soon as Kayley could speak, and don’t actually recall a time where one thing existed without the other. Kayley began performing as a kid in grade school productions, then as a teen in high school productions and community theatre. Kayley attended Boston Conservatory and upon graduation, began a cruise contract where Kayley fronted the party band. Afterwards, Kayley became a member of a doo-wop group in southwest Florida for the better part of a year, had a brief stint in a southern gospel group and then joined a Nashville based corporate events band as a vocalist in the winter of 2013.

In 2012 Kayley was accepted into the Johnny Mercer Songwriter Workshop, where she studied songwriting under Tony and Grammy award winning songwriters. It was an incredible time of learning and has really shaped her as a songwriter. She is inspired by fellow musician constantly, and of course, Dolly Parton.
