Flatline | 2017 NPR Tiny Desk Contest

Reilly Hill is pleased to partake in a wonderful platform of music-sharing through NPR’s tiny desk series contest. Every bit of sound was captured in this humble ballet studio fashioned out of an old church loft in East Nashville.

Reilly Hill is an Americana duo based out of Nashville, TN. Their writing style reflects an influence of blues, bluegrass, rockabilly, and folk. This is their original song, “Flatline”.

“Flatline” captures the devastation that a seemingly lost relationship brings and reveals the freedom that follows reconciliation. To come back from the flatline is to understand that when all is lost, hope is not forgotten.
